Training

Historic England provides training to help people understand, protect and manage the historic environment. Our programmes are mainly designed for:

  • local authorities
  • heritage professionals
  • adjacent sectors

We do online and face-to-face delivery in various formats, such as e-learning courses and webinar series. We also support training across the sector in order to promote good practice and showcase innovative approaches. Our work with partners delivers work-based training programmes such as heritage apprenticeships.
