207 sheets, almost all of which are from the late 20th century, with four from 2000. An earlier sheet of floor plans, from 1948, is included in the form of several later copies.
A number of drawings from the 1970s to the mid-1980s appear to be produced by or for the Department of the Environment or English Heritage, but are unattributed. Some relate to excavations and surveys made in 1970 and 1972.
Sixteen sheets show mechanical and electrical renewal proposals from the late 1980s, including lightning protection and fire alarm installation. There are photogrammetric survey sheets from 1991 and 1999, both sets including some rectified photography.
A set of sheets from 1994 form a survey of the castle's windows, and also included is the twenty-two page report associated with it.
A series of nine sheets of excavation and survey plans from between 1975 and 1990 record the distribution of architectural fragments at the site.
From the late 1990s, many sheets are related to repairs and conservation work for the castle's gatehouse.
There are three oversized sheets showing plans of the castle site and its lower and upper floors.
MP/STB0095 has been removed - it was a compilation of sheets MP/STB0156 to MP/STB0177 and was no longer required (the number can be used for future additional sheets).
