Frank Cooper's Works, Victoria Buildings, Oxford, Oxfordshire

The interior of the new buildings where the company continued production after 1900. In 1874 Frank's wife Sarah made far more marmalade than was needed by the family so Frank put the surplus into earthenware jars and sold it in his shop. They continued to make marmalade at the back of the shop until 1903 when new legislation forced them to move to a purpose built factory in Park End Street, close to both railway stations. Cooper's employed both men and women in the factory.
